Silent Ball

Players silently toss a soft ball around the group โ€” talk, make a wild throw, or drop a good one and you are out. A calm, focused classroom favourite.

How to run it

  1. Everyone stands by their seat or forms a circle. One person starts holding a soft ball.
  2. Players gently toss the ball to each other in complete silence โ€” the whole game is played without talking or making noise.
  3. You are out (sit down) if you talk or laugh out loud, make a wild or uncatchable throw, or drop a ball that was catchable.
  4. Keep going until one or two players remain. Perfect for settling an energetic group or as a quiet brain break between lessons.
